Pictures from Zakynthos in Greece

Zakynthos is just like the other Ionian Islands dressed in green. The beaches are fantastic and the water is clear, clean and turquoise. Compared with the beaches of Kefalonia and Lefkada, Zakynthos win with a nose length. The best beaches are on the east and the south coast. Western Zante is mountainous and in places difficult to access, while the eastern island is flat as a pancake. The island's most famous beach is called Smugglers Wreck.
